Dorothy JELLICOE
Dorothy Jellicoe passed away on July 12, 2025, in her 96th year. Born in Toronto on January 7, 1930, she was the beloved wife of the late John Edward Jellicoe for 70 years. Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was known for her kindness, warmth, humour, and her unwavering love for her family. She was very devoted to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Owen Sound. She was an elder in the church, a choir member for many years, and enjoyed quilting with the ladies on Wednesdays. She was predeceased by her husband, John; eldest son, David; brother, William (Bud) Charlton; and sister, Phyllis Moon. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Nancy of Clifford; sons Scott (Laurie) of Wasaga Beach, Ken (Sandy) of Kitchener, and Tom (Stephanie) of Oliphant; and her daughter Kathryn Wenham (Mark) of St. Catharines. Also survived by her grandchildren Chris (Lanny), Terry, Eric, Crystal (Mike), Sean (Anna), Rob (Meghan), Deanna, James, Ryan (Meagan), and Meaghan (Jordon); great-grandchildren Piper, Danger, Hailey, Christian, Alicia, Angel, Jade, Raeyna, Emily, Katherine, James, Josh, Kamryn, Charlotte, and Daphne. A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Owen Sound on Saturday, October 18, 2025. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the church in her memory.
