Colin Braithwaite

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Colin Scott Braithwaite on July 31, 2026, at the age of 44. Colin is survived by his sister Andrea Braithwaite and his longtime partner Lindsay Eva, along with a vast network of devoted friends and extended family throughout Canada. He is predeceased by his parents, Don (2019) and Karen (2018) Braithwaite, whose loss he felt profoundly. An avid outdoorsman, Colin had a special bond with animals and expressed his creativity through art, music, and culinary skills. His insatiable curiosity led him on adventures across Canada, where he forged lasting friendships. A private celebration of Colin's life, reflecting his love for family, friends, food, and music, will take place at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home in Owen Sound. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Grey Sauble Conservation Authority in his honor.
