Stefan Kostadinov Bayarov

Stefan Kostadinov Bayarov of Ottawa, Ontario, passed away on October 10, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on July 17, 1962, Stefan was surrounded by family and friends throughout his life. He is survived by his parents, Dimitrina Stefanova Bayarova and Kostadin Todorov Bayarov; his wife, Tobi-Lynn Bayarova; and his children, Dimitrina, Marina (Emil), and Svetlana Bayarova. He also leaves behind his sister, Konstantina Kostova; his niece, Konstantina Kostova; his great-nephew, Simeon Grozev; his cousin, Momchil Dachovski; his aunt, Vuina; his parents-in-law, Lynn and Dennis Christensen; his sister-in-law, Stacy Christensen; his brother-in-law, Deron Miller; and his nieces and nephews, Abrienne Miller (Jong Lee), Joseph Miller, and Maxym Miller (Helaina Appleyard), as well as Petia Datchovska, Lilia Datchovska, and Sofia Datchovshka. Visitation will take place on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church, located at 721 Somerset St W, Ottawa, ON K1R6P7. A funeral service will follow from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location, with burial to take place at Holy Trinity Cemetery, 1890 Merivale Rd, Ottawa, ON K2G1E6, from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Stefan's name to the Ruddy Shenkman Hospice or to the iconography fund at Christ the Saviour Orthodox Church.
