Scott MACLAREN

Scott MacLaren passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026, after a two-year battle with colon cancer. He was the loving son of Ken and Margaret MacLaren. Scott is survived by his wife Jose, with whom he celebrated 42 years of marriage, daughter Jamie and her husband Brent, son Cameron and his wife Ghinel, brother Keith, nephew Brian and his wife Christina, niece Kate and her husband Dan, his three granddaughters Maggie, Isabelle, and Anastasia, and step-grandsons Jaiden and Parker. Scott grew up on Jerseyville Road in Ancaster, Ontario, and graduated from McMaster University with a master's degree in Kinesiology. He had a successful 30-year career as a Canadian Tire Dealer and was proud of his Scottish lineage. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery.
