Reta (nee Molnar) Rogalsky

With love and gratitude for a life well lived, the family of Reta Rogalsky (nee Molnar) announces her peaceful passing on August 10, 2026, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Ottawa, surrounded by her loved ones. Reta, aged 91, is survived by her devoted husband Hermann Rogalsky and their children, Rodney, Lori, Wendy, and Patricia. She will be fondly remembered by her ten grandchildren: Taylor, Christopher, Alessandro, Lucas, Olivia, Nicole, Jacob, Matthew, Kalan, and Evan, as well as six great-grandchildren: Ryker, Rowan, Nathan, Alena, Maverick, and Miles. Reta was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Elizabeth Molnar, and her brothers, Wilson and Fred Molnar. A nurturing spirit, she delighted in baking and shared countless meals with family and friends. Reta was an active member of the Optimist International Club of Cornwall, contributing to charitable events. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Vincent's Palliative Care Unit and the Cornwall Optimist Club. A celebration of her life will be held at Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery, with details to be announced.
