Phillip Bent

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Phillip Bent, who departed this life on September 12, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on April 17, 1941, Phillip was a cherished husband to Diane and a devoted father to his children, Stephen Bent (Mia Schoenherr-Bent) and Sherrie Bent. He is also survived by his sister Betty Keddy (late Mac Keddy) of Nova Scotia and his beloved grandchildren, Madison and Serena Bent. Phillip was predeceased by his parents, Samuel Manford Bent and Pearl Bent, as well as his parents-in-law, Ruth Silbsy and Ernest Silsby. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Canadian Cancer Society. Phillip's warmth and thoughtfulness will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
