The family announces the passing of Peter Dirk Zylstra of Ottawa, Ontario, on October 17, 2026. Born on October 23, 1936, Peter was surrounded by many shared moments and relationships throughout his life. He is survived by his wife Moira; children Carla (Ward), Dirk (Marie-Claude), Fiona, and Rod (Lori-Ann); and grandchildren Stewart, Quinn, Callum, Lucas, and Flora. Visitation will take place on Sunday, November 8, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Tubman Funeral Homes, located at 403 Richmond Rd, Ottawa, ON K2A0E9. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
