Patricia Mary Jeannine Lafleur

Patricia Mary Jeannine Lafleur (nee Charbonneau) passed away peacefully on April 8, 2024, at the age of 72, surrounded by her loved ones and the dedicated staff at The Ottawa Heart Institute. A proud resident of lower-town Ottawa, Patricia cherished her relationships with family and friends, always showing care and affection to those around her. She had a special bond with animals, particularly her beloved pet, Coco Chanel, who brought her and her husband, René, much joy. Patricia is predeceased by her parents, Jeannine and Hector Charbonneau. She is survived by her devoted husband of 26 years, René Lafleur, her son, Michael Soulard, and her son-in-law, Pierre Simpson. A heartfelt acknowledgment goes to her long-time friend, Bernard Beaulieu, for his support during her final moments. In honor of Patricia's life, donations may be made to the Ottawa Heart Institute, a local pet shelter, or a women's shelter. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later date.
