Michael is predeceased by his wife Sandy, his parents Betty and Emmett, and his sister Mary. He is survived by his children, Blake and Tamara (Michael), his brothers Keith and Patrick, and his granddaughters Maeve and Florence. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. Michael's influence on those around him will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him.
