Mary Helen (Stapleton) St. Martin

Mary Helen St. Martin (nee Stapleton) passed away peacefully in Ottawa on October 22, 2026, at the age of 88. Originally from Wingham, Ontario, Mary dedicated much of her life to the Ottawa area, where she raised her family and worked at the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre. She was a loving mother to her three sons, Adrian (Jennie), Robin (Sophie), and Julian (Colleen), and a cherished grandmother to Addison and Emmanuelle St. Martin. Mary was predeceased by her parents, James and Isabella (Austin) Stapleton, as well as her siblings: sisters Reta Mason and Anne Brown, and brothers Ken Stapleton, Wade Stapleton, and Bill Stapleton. Her home was a place of laughter and warmth, often filled with the delightful aromas of her cooking and baking. Mary took great pride in hosting family dinners, valuing the connections made around the table. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral or celebration of life.
