MARY E. MORIARTY

Mary E. Moriarty (nee Huycke) died peacefully at the Salvation Army Ottawa Grace Manor with family by her side on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, in her 87th year. She was the beloved wife of James for 58 years, a proud mother to Michael and Melinda (Eric), a dear sister to Linda, a loving sister-in-law to Lee Anne (Don), and a devoted aunt to Robert (Krista), Jennifer, and Jeffrey (Shauna). Mary was raised on the family apple/dairy farm in the Warkworth, Ontario, area by her loving parents, Edward and Bernice. She quickly gained employment in the insurance industry, starting her career at Crown Life. After taking a pause to raise a family, she continued her career as an executive assistant at North American Life and later continued at Manulife until her retirement in 2003.
