Marie Louise Gilberte Pink

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Marie Louise Gilberte Pink on August 24, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on January 29, 1940, in Ottawa, Ontario, she was the cherished wife of Barry Norman Pink and a devoted mother to Jason (Sandra) and Hedra Marlene (Paul). Louise was a loving grandmother to Daniel and James. She is predeceased by her brothers Roger, Paul, Rick, and Frank, and her sister Hélène. Surviving her are her brother Peter (Johanne), sister Julie (André), and numerous nieces and nephews. A dedicated nurse, Louise cared for patients throughout her career, from newborns to those in palliative care. She was also the family genealogist, a role she cherished. A Celebration of Life will be held on September 18 at 10:30 a.m. at Paroisse Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Ottawa, with a light luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Diabetes Canada, Parkinsons Canada, Defeat MSA Canada, or a charity of your choice are appreciated.
