Marguerite Tutte

Marguerite Tutte of Ottawa, Ontario, passed away on August 11, 2026. She was predeceased by her husbands Douglas F. Tutte and Harry B. Cicconi, and by her father George Rettie. She is survived by her children Derrek and Marilyn; her daughters Lorraine, Linda and Leslie; her grandchildren Garry (partner Andrea), Jen (partner Mike), Douglas (partner Jackie), Peggy‑Rae (partner Sam), Stephanie (partner Alex), Jeremy (partner Stephanie), Michael, David, Laura (partner Peter), Holly, Steven (partner Cassie Li) and Kimberly (partner Gareth); her great‑grandchildren Tegan, Taylor, Camden and Eleanor; her siblings George R. Phillips and Reta M. Phillips‑Hirtle; her nibling Carol‑Ann K. Tutte‑Carswell; her friend Sal Davis; her friend Harry Cicconi (Chic); and numerous other relatives and friends listed in the notice. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Pinecrest Cemetery, 2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C 3H9, followed by a memorial gathering at the Kanata Legion, Branch #638 at 11:00 a.m., and a funeral service at Pinecrest Cemetery at 11:15 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Kidney Foundation.
