Margaret Jones

Margaret Jones of Ottawa, Ontario, passed away on August 15, 2026. She was predeceased by her husband, Mervyn Jones, and her parents, Carl Dean and Isobel Dean. Survivors include her sons Mark and Kevin, grandchildren Connor and Alison, and siblings Janet Cunningham of Guelph, Ontario, and Ken Dean of Delta, British Columbia. Additional surviving relatives comprise nieces, nephews, grand‑nieces and grand‑nephews. Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. and a reception at 2:00 p.m. at the Pinecrest Reception Centre, same address. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Ottawa Network for Education School Breakfast Program or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
