Maimae M. Johnson

Maimae M. Johnson passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026, at her residence, at the age of 88. She is survived by her children Doug (Betty) in Calgary, Patrice Milne in Winkler, Lindsey (Peter Cutler) and Kent (Joanne McConnell) in Ottawa, and Sharen (Blair Slaunwhite) in Fox Harbour. Maimae will also be remembered by her eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, her sister Wonda (Dan Sargent), brothers Stuart and Eerae Frazer, brother-in-law Gary Johnson, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ken and her sister Joyce Milne. In accordance with her wishes, no funeral will be held, but a private family gathering will take place at a later date. The family expresses gratitude to the staff at Hazeldean Gardens Retirement Community for their exceptional care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
