Lynn Greenblatt
Lynn Greenblatt, born on December 30, 1947, passed away on August 23, 2026, at the Montfort Hospital in Ottawa, at the age of 78. She was predeceased by her parents, Frances and Dr. Joseph Greenblatt. Lynn is survived by her brothers, Ira, Jay, and Harry, along with numerous nieces and nephews. A dedicated advocate for marginalized communities, Lynn trained as a Speech Language Pathologist at Boston College and worked at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario, assisting children with severe speech and language challenges. Her career continued at Transport Canada, Statistics Canada, and Health Canada, focusing on accessibility and social issues. Living with multiple sclerosis since early adulthood, Lynn maintained her independence and intellectual curiosity, becoming a passionate collector of unique antiques. In retirement, she volunteered with organizations such as REACH and the Ottawa Kosher Food Bank. In accordance with her wishes, all arrangements will be private. Donations to the MS Society or the Ottawa Kosher Food Bank are welcomed in her memory.
