Lois Rochon

Lois Rochon of Ottawa, Ontario, passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 57. Born on March 13, 1969, she was the beloved daughter of the late John Francis Kenny and Mary Ann Elizabeth Summers (Houlahan). Lois is survived by her children, Mitchell (Lexi) and Samantha Storey (Spencer), as well as her siblings, Margie Kerr (Dwayne) and John Summers (Bettina). She will be missed by her nieces and nephews, Teagan and Shaelen Summers, and her dedicated caregivers, Natasha, Rene, and Juju. Visitation will take place on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Shields Funeral Homes & Chapel, located at 1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K1V1A6. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St Augustine Parish, 1060 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C0A6, followed by inurnment at Our Lady of the Visitation Cemetery, 5338 Bank St, Ottawa, ON K1X1H1. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
