Lidija Duvnjak

Lidija Duvnjak passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 90 in Ottawa, Ontario. Born on May 25, 1936, in Belgrade, Serbia, she was the daughter of Ludmila (Predavec) Nikolajevic and Zvonimir Janovic, and was predeceased by her stepfather, Zoran Nikolajevic. Lidija is survived by her husband, Zdravko Duvnjak, and their two sons, Milan and Dusan (Sylvie). She was a devoted Baka to her grandchildren, Audrey (Jonathan), Isabelle (Yann), Melissa, and Nikola. Also remembered are her brother, George Nikolayevich (Sally), and her niece and nephew, Alec and Lida (James). A Funeral Service will be held at Beechwood Funeral Home on September 18, 2026, with visitation from 9:15 a.m. until the Memorial Service at 10 a.m., followed by interment at Beechwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Perley Health Foundation. The family expresses gratitude to the caregivers at Perley Health for their compassionate support.
