John Thomas Wiley

John Thomas Wiley of Ottawa, Ontario, passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on April 16, 1946, John Thomas lived a life surrounded by family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Bert Wiley and Anna May Wiley, as well as his brothers, Philip and Jim. He is survived by his sons, Jamie (Samantha Carlucci) and Andrew Wiley (Cleo Mavriplis); his sister, Marie Wiley; his sister-in-law, Jill Wiley; and his niece, Claire Wiley. Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery, located at 3700 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa, ON K4M1B2. A funeral service will follow on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. Burial will occur on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, also at the Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery. A reception will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kelly Funeral Home - Barrhaven Chapel, located at 3000 Woodroffe Ave, Nepean, ON K2J4G3. In memory of Tom, the family requests donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
