John Patrick George Scott

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of John Patrick George Scott on August 26, 2026. He is survived by his beloved wife, Tanya, and their two daughters, Lillian and Gwendolyn. John was the cherished son of Patrick and Gail from Kingston, and he leaves behind his sisters, Stephanie (Matt) and Catherine (Nolan), both of Toronto, along with numerous cousins, uncles, and aunts in Kingston and Ottawa. A devoted uncle to Ava, Blake, and Maple, he brought immense joy to their lives. John was well-loved by friends and colleagues across Kingston, Ottawa, Belleville, and Toronto, known for his humor and kindness. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation or the Nature Conservancy of Canada are appreciated. A Celebration of Life in Kingston will be announced later, and heartfelt thanks are extended to the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre and ICU for their exceptional care.
