Jacqueline Doreen McKellar

Jacqueline Doreen McKellar passed away in Ottawa, Ontario, on September 21, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on July 14, 1934, she is fondly remembered by her family and friends. Jacqueline was predeceased by her parents, André and Celina Lalonde; her daughter, Janet McKellar; and her siblings: Bernadette Dubé (Emile), Gertrude Desnoyers (Ernest), Beatrice Peters (Andy), Georgette Gault (Johnny), Margaret Rutley (Dwayne), Leo Lalonde (Jeannine), and Desmond Lalonde (Joan). She is survived by her children, David McKellar (Heather) of Trenton, Louise Nesbitt (Dave) of Kingston, Micheline Fleming (Alain Goudreau) of Gatineau, Jeffrey McKellar of England, and Wendy Klaubert (Rudi) of Calgary, along with her brother, Norman Lalonde (late Marion) of Ottawa, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Parish, followed by a committal service and burial at Notre-Dame Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
