Irene Williams

Irene Williams (nee Ford) passed away peacefully in the morning of August 30, 2025, at the age of 94. She was predeceased by her husband, Ken, in 1987, and her son, Malcolm, in 2016. Irene is survived by her daughters, Karin (Jerry Johnston) and Siona (Joe Sullivan), and son Duncan (Alison Found), as well as her grandchildren, Brendan (Bela), Ryan and Sean Sullivan, Nicholas, Heather and Lauren Johnston, and great-grandchildren, James and Evelyn Sullivan, and family in Scotland. Born on June 9, 1931, in Scotland to Mary (nee Scott) and James Ford, Irene grew up in Dunbar, Scotland, and obtained a Liberal Arts degree from the University of Edinburgh, where she met her husband, Ken. They married on September 4, 1954, and had four children together. At Irene's request, there will be no funeral service. In her memory, it is suggested to take a walk in a park or garden and admire the plants and scenery.
