Ian Edgar Newman

Ian Edgar Newman of Ottawa, Ontario, passed away on September 9, 2026. He is survived by his beloved wife, Diane; his son, Scott Newman; his stepsons, Kris Brookes and Scott Brookes; his sisters, Jane, Sally, and Susan; and his cherished grandchildren, Gunnar Bjermeland-Newman, Addison, Ella Brookes, and Sloane Brookes. Ian is also remembered by many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will take place on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Pinecrest Remembrance Services, located at 2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada in Ian's memory.
