Hughrina Theresa Gorman

Hughrina Theresa Gorman of Ottawa, Ontario, passed away on October 10, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on January 24, 1934, Hughrina was surrounded by family, friends, and community throughout her life. She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth (Betty Ann) Rafuse (Barry); her brother, Richard (Ricky) Gorman (Marilyn); her parents, Marguerite Gorman and Joseph (Joe) Gorman; and her brothers, Patrick, Leo, and Raymond. Hughrina also leaves behind her nieces and nephews: Kimberly, Joey (Shelagh), Jason (Melissa), and Erin, as well as her great-nieces and great-nephew: Niabh, Iveagh, Liam, and Anna. Visitation will take place on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the O'Neill Funeral Home, located at 6324 Main St, Whitchurch-Stouffville, ON L4A1G9. A funeral Mass will follow on the same day from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church, 345 Glad Park Ave, Whitchurch-Stouffville, ON L4A1E4. Burial will occur on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at 805 Ave. de Buckingham, Gatineau, QC J8L3G1. In lieu of flowers, donations in Hughrina's memory may be made to Diabetes Canada.
