Gerald Francis Foley

It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Gerald Francis Foley of Ottawa, Ontario. Gerald was born on October 11, 1935, and he passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 91. He was predeceased by his parents, John Foley and Mary Foley (Coleman), his siblings Cart, Diane, and Donalda, as well as his wife Lorie. Gerald is survived by his children, Patricia, Anne-Marie, Susan (Jim), and David (Joy), his son-in-law Robert Bryar, and his cousin Marilyn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will take place on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery, located at 3700 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa, ON K4M1B2. Following the service, a reception will be held at the same location from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM. In memory of Gerry, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Ottawa Mission, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
