Gail Ellen MacLaurin of Ottawa, Ontario, born on June 6, 1941, passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 85. She was predeceased by her boyfriend Hank Vanderbraak, her parents Earl and May Magladry, and her sister Marilyn (Mark). Gail is survived by her children Kathi (Jones), Chris (Dao), and Jeff, along with her grandchildren Sara, Holly, Huy, David, and Jonathan. She is also survived by her sister Lynda Reed and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Tubman Funeral Homes Garden Chapel, located at 3440 Richmond Rd, Nepean, ON K2H8H7. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Alzheimer's Society of Canada or The Ottawa Humane Society would be appreciated.
