EVELYN MARY ANNE COLLINS

Evelyn Mary Anne Collins (nee McCoy) passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on November 19, 1932, in Ottawa, Ontario, to Thomas Joseph McCoy and Marie Elizabeth Evelyn McCoy (nee Seguin), Evelyn married James Frederick Collins on July 1, 1955. She lived briefly in Kingston before moving to Guelph, where she spent her high school years. Evelyn obtained her Master's in Library Science in 1979 and worked as a Librarian at the E.J. Pratt Library at Victoria College, University of Toronto, for several years. She was then employed at the John M. Kelly Library at the University of St. Michael's College from the mid-1980s until 2010. Evelyn was active in the Catholic Church and was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Fred, and was predeceased by none mentioned in the obituary. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel.
