Diane M. Hamel

Diane M. Hamel of Ottawa, Ontario, passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 78. She is remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Diane was predeceased by her parents, Jacques Philippe Hamel and Alma Savard, her brother Raymond Hamel, and her sister Sylvie Watters. She is survived by her son Stephen (Chantal Terrien) and her grandson Louis-Philippe, along with numerous family members and friends who will cherish her memory. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salon Funéraire Racine, located at 180 Montréal Rd, Ottawa, ON K1A0S2. A funeral service will take place on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Église St-Joseph D'Orléans, 2757 St Joseph Blvd, Orléans, ON K1C1G4. In memory of Diane, donations may be made to the 24th Scouts of Orléans.
