David Edward Rose died on August 23, 2026. He is survived by his parents, Edward and Jessie Rose; his siblings George, Barbara, Melwood and Stephen; his wife Susan; his children Keith, Margaret and Brian; his children‑in‑law Andrée, Ian and Laura; and his granddaughters Eleanor, Annabel and Amelia. The family requests that, in place of flowers, donations be made to charities reflecting his values, including the David and Susan Rose Fund, which supports Ottawa‑based community projects.
