Betty Grace (Schwabe) Haystead

Betty Grace (Schwabe) Haystead of Ottawa, Ontario, passed away on September 14, 2026. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Emily Schwabe, as well as her siblings: Walter (Eva), Arthur (Eleanor), Evelyn (Arthur), and Kathlean 'Kitty' (Colin). Betty is survived by her grandchildren, David, Tyler, Melissa, Kate, Ashley, Kelsey, Jordan, Cassandra, Jeremy, Rebecca, Justin, and Christina; her great-grandchildren, Morgan, Matthew, Marshall, Harley, Cameron, Jacob, Nyla, and Claire; and her great-great-grandchildren, Liam and Charlotte. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Metropolitan Bible Church, located at 2176 Prince of Wales Dr, Nepean, ON K2E0A1. A celebration of life will follow on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the same location. In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty's memory may be made to the Metropolitan Bible Church.
