Bernard Shinder

Bernard Shinder was born on February 9, 1936, and died on August 21, 2026, at the age of 90. He was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Nechama. He is survived by his wife Adele; his siblings Israel (Jennie), Gert Goldstein (Jack) and Ethyl Lightstone (Manny); his sons Arnold and Jonathan; four grandchildren; three great‑grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service took place on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Jewish Memorial Gardens, 2692 Bank Street, Gloucester, Ontario. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Hillel Lodge Foundation.
