Asimina Saikaley

The family of Asimina Saikaley announces her passing on September 8, 2026, at the age of 47. Born on March 8, 1979, Asimina was deeply loved and cherished by her parents, Joanna and Michial Xidous, as well as her parents-in-law, Jimmy and Siham Saikaley. She is survived by her siblings, Dimitra and Maria, her siblings-in-law, Frank, Micheline, Elie, and Angela, and her beloved nieces and nephews: Brianna, Alexa, Matteo, Mia, Stelio, Milana, Ioanna, and Michael. Visitation will take place on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Shields Funeral Homes & Chapel, located at 1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, followed by a committal service at Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Elias Cathedral.
