André Villeneuve

André Villeneuve passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026, at the age of 83, surrounded by his loving wife, Louise Boivin, and their children. Originally from Loretteville, André dedicated his career to the cultural landscape of Québec City, Montréal, and Ottawa. He is survived by his children, Hugo, Anne-Marie (Francis), and Esther (Jason), as well as his cherished grandchildren, Joël, Éloïse, Maxime, Léo, Ève, Micah, and Zoe. He will also be missed by his siblings, Denise, Colette, Fernand (Josée), Roger (Micheline), Pierre-Yves, and the late Pierre (Ginette), along with his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law from the Boivin family, and many nephews, nieces, and friends. The family will receive condolences at the Hôtel-Musée Premières Nations in the Yaronta Room on Sunday, September 27, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
