Thomas James Cotton

The family announces the passing of Thomas James Cotton of Oshawa, Ontario, on October 23, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on June 30, 1935, Thomas shared many moments and relationships throughout his life. He was predeceased by his siblings, Violet, Beatrice, Ed, and Ron. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; his children, Stephen (Helen), Todd (Debbie), and Dale; and his grandchildren, Sarah, Bradley, Mitchell, Brett, Lindsay, and Clayton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Oshawa Funeral Home, located at 847 King St W, Oshawa, ON L1J2L4. A funeral service will follow at 1:30 PM on the same day. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Association.
