Sheila Christina Johnston

Sheila Christina Johnston (nee Wilkinson) passed away on August 3, 2024, at the age of 77, at her home in Oshawa, ON, surrounded by her children, her sisters, and those who loved her. Born on August 16, 1946, in Toronto, ON, to Harold and Margaret Wilkinson, Sheila grew up in Pickering Township before moving to Ajax, ON. She raised her five children in Stouffville, ON, before settling in Oshawa, ON, with her husband Bill. Sheila is devoted and cherished mother of Chris Nutt (Cindy), Heather Nutt-Christensen (Fred), Trudy Snooks (Daniel), Tim Kerswill (Michele), and Adam Kerswill. She is treasured Grammie of Andrew (Emma), Abigayle, Kai, and Jace. Sheila is the dear sister of Barbara, Bob, Bev, Nancy, Ross, Don, Ken, Steve, and Tommy. She will be lovingly missed by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Sheila is predeceased by her parents, her husband Bill, and her siblings Peggy, Mayme, Kathy, John, Doris, and Helen.
