Robert John Tumey

Robert John Tumey of Oshawa, Ontario, passed away on August 27, 2026. He is survived by his beloved spouses, Mary-Grace and Viena Whalley, and his children, Janice Pursiainen (Raymond) of Coldwater and Peter Tumey (Mary-Lynn) of Oshawa. Robert was a cherished grandfather to David, Michael, Caitlin (Derek), and Laura, and a great-grandfather to Charlotte and Remi. He also leaves behind his stepdaughters, Eva Gainer (Jonathan), Leah Somers (Jack), and Lisa Talvak (Bill). Visitation took place on September 3, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM at McIntosh-Anderson-Kellam Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Robert to Lakeridge Health Oshawa or CNIB would be appreciated.
