Nora HANLAN

Nora Hanlan (nèe Johnston) of Oshawa passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the age of 86. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Hanlan. Nora is lovingly remembered by her children Steve Hanlan (Tammy), Terry Hanlan (Cheri Fisher), Laurie Jones (Jim), Penny Hanlan, and predeceased by her son Fred Hanlan. She is dearly missed by her grandchildren Matt (Sarah), Kate (Adam), Daniel (Alycia), Karen, Amanda (Brad), Kevin (Brianne) and great-grandchildren Lilah, Maya, Samantha, Evan, and Ava. Nora is survived by her sister Phyllis and predeceased by her sister Dora, brother Theodore, and parents Albert and Madeline. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hendren Funeral Home - Lakefield Chapel. A visitation will take place on July 29, 2025, at The Hendren Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. till 1:00 p.m., with a service following at 1:00 p.m. A reception will take place after the service till 3:30 p.m. Private interment is to follow. Memorial donations may be made to The Alzheimer Society or to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
