MICHAEL ANGELAKIS

Michael Angelakis passed away peacefully at his home in East Oshawa on August 5, 2026, at the age of 96. He is survived by his son David, grandson Jonathan, and sister Joanne. Michael was predeceased by his wife Gladys, children Michael, Jennifer, and Dawn, sister Mary, brother Costos, and brother-in-law George. He had a successful career in management with Simpsons Department Store and The Bay for over 30 years, and later ran a house cleaning business for 25 years. Michael enjoyed various hobbies, including model railroading, chess, bridge, and antique shopping. He will be remembered for his wisdom, gardening talents, and ability to find beauty in everyday things. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Armstrong Funeral Home.
