Linda Mary Poulin

Linda Mary Poulin, nee Lye, passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 84, surrounded by her family at Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry. She was the devoted wife of the late Jean-Luc Poulin, who predeceased her in July 2007, and a loving mother to Jean-Louis and Danielle. Linda was also a grandmother to Christian, Matthew, Nicolas, and Sebastien, and a great-grandmother to Sophie. She was predeceased by her parents, Raymond Jerome Lye and Mary Margaret Pickering, and her brother Rick. Linda is survived by her siblings John, Eric, Michael, and JoAnne, as well as 52 nieces and nephews. Throughout her life, Linda was a dedicated teacher, having begun her career in Toronto at the age of 19, and later taught with the Durham District School Board until her retirement in 1997. She will be remembered for her love of sailing, bridge, and reading, as well as her support of local and national charities.
