Leonard "Tony" Anthony GONSALVES

Leonard "Tony" Anthony Gonsalves passed away on August 11, 2026, at the age of 91. He was born in Georgetown, Guyana, the eldest of nine children of Georgina and Fernando Gonsalves. Tony married Adelaide, and together they immigrated to Canada, raising two sons, Richard (married to Susan) and Brian (married to DeeAnn). He was a proud grandfather to Eric, Kim, Kirk, Kevin and Lauren, and a great‑grandfather to Charlie, Adele, Cooper, Leonard Anthony Jr. and Owen. Tony’s professional life included a career as a West Indies cricketer and later as an insurance salesman. The family expressed gratitude to the staff at AgeCare Samac for the compassionate care they provided during his final year.
