Born on August 30, 1943, Jose was a beloved husband to Maria Luisa and a cherished father to his children, Jorge (the late Lorna), Edgar (Shelley), and Gina (Luke). He is remembered fondly by family, friends, and colleagues who will carry forward the memories of his character and spirit. Visitation will take place at Oshawa Funeral Home, located at 847 King St W, Oshawa, ON, on Monday, September 28, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will follow on Tuesday at 10:30 AM, with a committal service at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 355 Taunton Rd E, Whitby, ON, at 11:30 AM.
