The family of James Hill announces his passing on September 13, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on August 19, 1941, in Oshawa, Ontario, James was a cherished individual whose life was filled with meaningful relationships and joyful moments. He is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Mary, and his brother Charles (Helen). James is survived by his beloved spouse Gayle, his children Shannon (Michael), Shalene, and Gregory, as well as his sister Marlene Russell (Arthur). A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Oshawa Funeral Home, located at 847 King St W, Oshawa, ON L1J2L4. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
