JAMES GORDON WALSH

James Gordon Walsh passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 78. He died peacefully at home in Oshawa, ON, after a long battle with Parkinson's. He was the beloved husband of Marietta for nearly 53 years. James will be sadly missed by his children, Jeffrey, Michael, Gregory, Jennifer, and Julie, as well as his grandchildren, Eliott, Graham, Sadie, Marshall, and Simon. He was predeceased by his parents, Earl and Kathleen Walsh, and his brother-in-law, Rick. James is survived by his sisters, Patricia, and Valerie, and his brother-in-law, Ken. He worked for 30 years at the Ministry of Finance and enjoyed golf and sports, especially the Detroit Red Wings, Tigers, and Lions, in his retirement. As per his request, funeral arrangements will remain private. A celebration of life will be held at a later time. Donations can be made to Parkinson Canada or the Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation.
