Hazel Joyce Baker

The family of Hazel Joyce Baker of Oshawa, Ontario, announces her passing on October 13, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on January 13, 1937, Hazel is survived by her husband, Ken Baker; her daughters, Brenda (Jim), Kathy (Tom), and Christine (Jason); her grandchildren, Daryl (Keila), Tyler (Alison), Taryn, Nolan, Jacob, and Cara; and her great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Eva, Colin, and Sydney. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Grace, Jean, and Doreen, along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Centennial Albert United Church, located at 19 Rosehill Blvd, Oshawa, ON L1J5G5. A celebration of life will follow at 11:00 AM at the same location. In lieu of flowers, the family requests charitable donations to Centennial Albert United Church or the Canadian Cancer Society.
