Geraldine Ann (Hefferan) Murphy

Geraldine Ann Murphy, née Hefferan, of Oshawa, Ontario, died on August 13, 2026, at the age of 76. She was predeceased by her parents, Leo and Agnes. Survivors include her husband Kevin; her children Suzanne Meade (Gary) of Oshawa, Elaine McReynolds (Colin) of Kitchener, Colleen Iacobelli (Victor) of Caledon and John Murphy (Amy) of Chalk River; grandchildren Nicole, Mathew, Sadie, Finley, Colin, Zachary, Arminio and Georgia; step‑grandsons Luciano and Julian; great‑grandchild Alina; and siblings Carmel (Elwin) of Chapel Arm, Leo of Bellevue, Mary, Barbara, Michael and Peter, along with numerous extended family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any charity of choice in Geraldine’s memory.
