Gerald "Gerry" Edward STARTEK
Gerald 'Gerry' Edward Startek passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the age of 82. He is predeceased by his wife Pat. Gerry will be deeply missed by his children, Jennifer and Chris, and his two granddaughters, Emma and Quinn, who were his angels on earth. He is also survived by his siblings, Karen (Mark), Linda (Peter), Ed (Sandi), and Rick (Suzanne), as well as his sister-in-law Susan (Gary) and brother-in-law Bob (Theresa). Gerry's family would like to thank the staff in the Critical Care Unit at Lakeridge Oshawa, his friends at Royal Heights and from Brunswick Street, his coffee group, his church friends, and all who supported him, especially during the last five years without his wife. Visitation will take place at MCINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 2 - 5 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Services will be held at St. Gertrude's Catholic Church on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 11 a.m. The service will also be livestreamed. Donations in memory of Gerry to St. Gertrude's Parish or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
