DR. CAROLE SINCLAIR
Dr. Carole Sinclair passed away on February 28, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on January 13, 1941, she was the beloved wife of Edward Bader for 53 years. Dr. Sinclair is survived by her children, Daniel and Beth Ann, and their spouses, Katherine and Darren. She was also a proud grandmother of Christian, Thomas, Mary, Hayley, John, and Claire, and a dear sister of Linda, Allan, Susan, and Andrea. Dr. Sinclair was a clinical psychologist who served as the Director of Treatment Services at the Hincks-Dellcrest Centre. She was a primary architect of the Canadian Code of Ethics for Psychologists and a Fellow of the Canadian Psychological Association. Dr. Sinclair's lifelong commitment to the field was recognized in 2016 with the CPA Gold Medal Award for Distinguished Lifetime Contributions. Family and friends will gather for a visitation on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of St. Joseph. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Garry Hurvitz Centre for Community Mental Health at SickKids.
