David Elliot Thompson

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of David Elliot Thompson of Oshawa, Ontario, who departed this life on September 3, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on October 21, 1942, David was predeceased by his beloved wife, Leila Thompson, and his siblings, Alvin, Van, Euclid, and Claudia. He is survived by his children, Osei, Carl (Anjalee), and Halima, as well as his cherished grandchildren, Sloane and Harlowe. David also leaves behind nephews, extended family, and many dear friends. Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM, both at Armstrong Funeral Home, located at 124 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H1B6. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
