Caterina La Torre

The family announces the passing of Caterina La Torre of Oshawa, Ontario, on October 8, 2026. Caterina was deeply involved in many relationships and shared moments throughout her life. She was predeceased by her father, Vito Grazio Deligio, and her in-laws, Raffaele and Rosetta La Torre. Caterina is survived by her husband, Joseph La Torre; her children, Anthony and Rosemary Kottis (Nick); her mother, Gilda Deligio; her siblings, Carmela DeFilippis (Donato), Vito Deligio (Doriana), Tonia (Enrico), and Osso; her sister-in-law, Angela Morra (Tony); her grandchildren, Olivia, Gabriella, Natalie, and Steven; as well as her nieces and nephews, Vito, Joseph, Nancy, Victor, Daniel, Nicholas, John, Victoria, and Sophia. Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the De Stefano Funeral Home, located at 1289 Keith Ross Dr, Oshawa, ON L1H7K4. A funeral Mass took place on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 1:30 PM at St. Mary of the People Catholic Church, located at 570 Marion Ave, Oshawa, ON L1J3B9. Burial followed on the same day at 3:00 PM at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, located at 355 Taunton Rd W, Whitby, ON L1P. Flowers are welcome as a loving gesture.
