Pauline Martin, also known as 'The Lady with PAZZAZ', passed away peacefully on January 4, 2024, at the age of 83. Born in 1940 in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, to Frank and Nora Baker, she was the wife of her beloved husband, Bill, for 64 years. Pauline is survived by her four children, Susan, Nancy, Linda, and Peter, and their respective spouses, Kenny (deceased), Bruce, Todd, and Joey, as well as her loving grandchildren, Sarah, George, Philip, and Olivia, and her great-grandchildren, Dallas and Duke. She is also survived by her sister, Beverley, and predeceased by her brother, Bill, and is survived by her nephews, Jeffrey and David, and niece, Cindy. Pauline and her husband, Bill, were entrepreneurs who built and grew two successful businesses, one in Canada and one in Florida. She loved dogs and horses and had several dogs, including Peppy, King, Duke, George, Gracie, Kramer, Clover, Ruby, and Sophie. Pauline enjoyed tennis and golf and was a cub scout leader and a member of Beta Sigma Phi. She and her husband loved to travel, visiting places such as Africa, Peru, and Tanzania. Pauline cherished her grandmother, Margaret Teskey, of Wellington, Ontario, Canada, and her lifelong friend, Grace, of Alberta, Canada. A service to honor her will be held at Mount Lawn Cemetery, 21 Garrard Rd, Whitby, Ontario, on May 24, 2024, at 11:00 am, followed by a reception at the Mount Lawn Reception Center. Donations may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital or flowers may be sent to Mount Lawn Cemetery.
